Sari-Liia Tonttila is a founder of Ahjo Communications. She has been nominated a Diamond of the Year 2021 for her achievements in marketing and communications. She has been the deputy member of the board in the Council of Ethics for Communication (VEN) in Finland. She is also in the board of the PR Agencies in Finland. Sari-Liia and her team have received several international recognitions such as SABRE Awards, Stevie Awards (Crisis Communications and Healthcare), European Excellence, IPRA Golden World Awards and the Finnish Comms Awards.

Tonttila has extensive experience in public affairs, B-to-B communications, crisis management, customer relations support, media and consumer relations. Issues management with a focus on communications in the areas of trade, sustainability and labour issues, corporate social responsibility programs, and management of communications teams and companies in changes are also part of her strong know-how.
