Ahjo Receives the Responsible Communications Label

The Council of Ethics for Communication (VEN) has awarded Ahjo the Responsible Communications label. The label demonstrates the organization’s commitment to promoting a responsible communication culture.

“We regularly train our own staff on communication ethics guidelines and discuss different communication situations where ethical choices are involved. We are extremely proud to have received the label among the very first recipients. It reflects our determination to renew communication culture and to promote responsible communications,” says Ahjo’s CEO, Sari-Liia Tonttila.

The Communications Ethics Council (VEN) launched the Responsible Communications label on 15 January 2026 as part of the celebration of its 10-year anniversary. To receive the label, an organization must commit to the ethical guidelines for communications through a management decision and provide training for its personnel in responsible communications.
