BritBox – A new streaming service gained recognition among Finns thanks to a systematic increase in media visibility

BritBox is a streaming service specifically designed for viewers interested in British television and culture. The service brings together the best of British drama, crime, comedy, documentaries, entertainment, and lifestyle content on one platform.

 

In April 2022, BritBox launched a streaming service in Finland. Ahjo has been working with BritBox since the launch with the goal of spreading awareness and a positive image through media communications.

 

 

Results

 

In 2023, we achieved earned media visibility for BritBox with a total of 420 articles in 49 different publications. The results exceeded expectations and indicate that Finns are very interested in British streaming content.

 

The combined reach of the articles in 2023 was impressive: they reached a total of 118,988,026 people, demonstrating the effectiveness of the communication strategy and the appeal of BritBox to the Finnish audience.

 

Ahjo has successfully strengthened BritBox’s brand in Finland and increased its visibility and attractiveness to the general public. The collaboration has built a solid foundation for BritBox’s success in the Finnish market. Ahjo’s strong expertise in strategic media communication has brought the new competitor to the Finnish market into public awareness in a short time.
